The SSSC’s response to a call for evidence from the Scottish Parliament’s Finance Committee on demographic change and the ageing population. Submitted August 2012. 

The SSSC responded to a Government consultation on the Bill in September 2012.   The response covered a number of areas including proposals to increase the delivery and flexibility of child care. 

Scotland’s Childcare Alliance held a consultation on the reform of childcare provision in Scotland. The consultation is part of an independent Commission for Childcare Reform which is expected to report to the Childcare Alliance by summer 2015.
