In March 2018 the Scottish Government held a consultation on developing their new Suicide Prevention Action Plan. The SSSC’s response is available below.

The UK Government held a consultation on the secondary legislative framework for Social Work England. The SSSC’s response is attached.

The Scottish Government held an engagement exercise on a Discussion document to support further engagement on Safe and Effective Staffing in Health and Social Care. The SSSC’s response is attached.

The Care Inspectorate consulted on a draft quality framework to support their new methodology for inspecting care homes for older people. The SSSC’s response is attached.

In November 2017 the Scottish Government published ‘Empowering Schools: A consultation on the provisions of the Education (Scotland) Bill’. The SSSC’s response is attached. On 1 February 2018 we published an updated version of our response. This version includes some minor amendments and a bibliography.
