Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF)

The Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF) supports voluntary sector organisations providing social services that are a registered charity and are registered with the Care Inspectorate.

The VSDF contributes to the costs associated with meeting the required registration qualification criteria set by the SSSC to help employers in achieving a qualified, trusted, skilled, confident and valued workforce.

The Scottish Government provides a set amount of funding each year which the SSSC administers.

Eligible organisations are invited to apply between July and September and when funding is available, we publish information on how to apply in the news section and in our newsletters, along with the eligibility criteria.
