The Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) Supported Year came into effect from 1 October 2024. As part of the implementation support the SSSC is hosting quarterly forums for supervisors/first line managers, who are directly supporting and supporting NQSWs.

We are keen to hear about what works well and what could be better to build on best practice to inform the ongoing delivery and development of the NQSW Supported Year model and approach.
